ZAG - Actively shaping the future

"ZAG" (Zukunft Aktiv Gestalten) is the joint counseling cooperation between Bildung³ gGmbH and the youth counseling center of the city of Hilden. The core target group of the work are young people and young adults from Hilden (aged 14 - 25). They receive help and support with the transition from school to training and work and with preparing application documents.

ZAG works closely with the Hilden Youth Employment Agency. Together we solve problems, develop ideas and plan future prospects.

  • Youth counseling center "jueck"

    For young people seeking advice, the "jueck" is often the first point of contact. The advice center often has a pioneering "pilot function" and helps them to find their way through the bureaucratic confusion of responsibilities.
    General life advice - we listen, support, advise and help with problems - free of charge and confidentially, of course.
    Focus work: transition from school to work - cooperation project "ZAG" (Zukunft Aktiv Gestalten) together with Bildung³ gGmbH, including the preparation of application documents.
    The youth advice center is also part of the Hilden youth employment agency, which is also based in Area 51.

  • Youth Employment Agency (JBA)

    Four cooperation partners (Jobcenter ME-aktiv, the careers advice service of the Mettmann Employment Agency, the municipal youth advice center jueck and the social services of the city of Hilden) offer free and confidential support on Tuesdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. for all questions relating to the transition from school to work. There is an open consultation hour from 3.00 to 4.00 pm. The counseling team primarily helps with the development of school and career prospects, but also advises on personal difficulties, worries or problems in the family. The common goal: to continue to offer teenagers and young adults up to the age of 25 support and advice from a single source and under one roof.
