Duo GolzDanilov - The Guitar Duo

A concert in the KLANGVOLL series organized by the Department of Culture

With great emotion and technical brilliance, the two young artists Sören Golz and Ivan Danilov demonstrate the versatility of two classical guitars at the highest level. In addition to numerous competition successes and international engagements in Europe, Asia and South America, the Cultural Promotion Prize of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Enno and Christa Springmann Foundation Prize confirm that the wordless unity and virtuoso interplay of the two guitarists are unique.

In Hilden, the GolzDanilov duo will present a program rich in contrasts: fiery-rhythmic and sweetly dreamy music from Spain and South America, musical jewels from the Renaissance, Baroque and Classical periods as well as previously unheard, specially prepared transcriptions of selected masterpieces from the 20th and 21st centuries. A program that impressively and captivatingly demonstrates the dynamic range and fascinating timbres of the classical guitar.
