Hilden Citizen Festival
After the great success of last year's premiere, the 2nd Hilden Citizens' Festival is just around the corner. On the weekend of September 14/15, the city center will once again be transformed into a large festival site.
Over twenty bands, music and dance groups will be seen and heard from the Stadtpark to the Bürgerhaus, transforming the city center into a large open-air stage.
This year, Hilden clubs will be providing food and drink. A new feature is an extra area for teenagers and young adults. An extra program has been developed for this target group on Ellen-Wiederhold-Platz.
On Sunday morning, the city council invites you to a family picnic in the city park as part of the festival. Weather permitting, people will be able to make themselves comfortable on the lawn with the food and drinks they have brought with them. There will be various hands-on activities for children.

City bet
Mayor Claus Pommer is betting that the people of Hilden will not manage to line dance to "Stand by me" (in the Ivan Jack remix) with at least 333 people on Sunday, September 15, at 12:00 noon in front of the Stadthalle.
Sven Reichelt from Hilden bets against it and supports with a tutorial.
