Drumming enthusiasts who like Brazilian rhythms meet (since 2016) regularly before Carnival - and now regularly once a month - to rehearse together on typical samba instruments such as Surdo, Repinique, Tamborim, Agogo, Caixa and Shaker traditional rhythms and arrangements composed from them.
With the help of catchy sayings, the participants learn the various rhythmic figures and their implementation on the respective instrument, as well as several typical samba "breaks". The focus is always on the fun of drumming together, which can then be heard and felt by bystanders at the Hilden Shrove Monday parade, the music school's summer festival and other events.
