Citizen's Office
The Citizens' Advice Bureau on the first floor of the town hall is the central point of contact for all Hilden residents. It sees itself as the first point of contact for all administrative matters and at the same time offers important services from a single source. Consultation takes place in an open and bright atmosphere, and a separate room is available for confidential discussions.
The list of tasks ranges from ID cards and passports to registration matters and lost and found office to issuing residents' parking permits. And anyone who needs to present a current photo at short notice will find a passport photo machine on site.
In addition, many applications can be made at the citizens' office that actually fall within the scope of the Mettmann district administration. In addition to driver's license applications, these include, above all, applications that foreign citizens must submit to the Foreigners' Registration Office.
