Youth Parliament

The Hilden Youth Parliament is a body for political youth education and is elected every two years. It gives young people the opportunity to actively contribute their ideas and perceptions to the shaping of the urban community and to local politics.

This is done either through projects and actions developed and implemented by the young people themselves, or in the form of motions submitted to committees. In the work to date, topics from the areas of school, leisure, traffic, the environment, youth participation and the peaceful coexistence of people have established themselves as focal points.

In its function, the Youth Parliament contributes to increasing the quality of life of young people and to the development of a youth-friendly city of Hilden.
