Stolperstein sponsorship

The Stolpersteine project is a "remembrance work" by the Berlin artist Gunter Demning. The stones are intended to commemorate the expulsion and extermination of Jews, Sinti, Roma, political persecutees, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses and euthanasia victims during National Socialism.
When Stolpersteine were laid again in Hilden on July 14, 2009, the Youth Parliament took over the sponsorship of Betty Schweriner's stone. It is laid in front of the Böhmer shoe store at Mittelstraße 7-9.
