Dirt Away Day

Get stuck in - have fun and do good, because Hilden is important to us!

Unfortunately, garbage does not always end up where it belongs. The central building yard of the city of Hilden regularly cleans the entire city area. However, wherever people linger and, in particular, take breaks, a lot of litter ends up in public spaces and green areas. And after a very short time, many places look unclean and neglected. However, well-maintained public spaces make a significant contribution to the overall positive appearance of a city and make a city worth living in.

Support wanted

We are therefore looking for active support and welcome all helpers to take part in this year's "Dirt Away Day". Materials such as grab tongs, bin bags and gloves can be collected from the four locations at 12 noon in each case

Thank you

For refreshments and as a small thank you, there will be a warm lunch on the grounds of the central building yard after the collection campaign. All participants can make their way there from 2 pm.

Please register by September 25, 2024 so that we can plan early for the procurement of equipment and the calculation of catering.
